Award-winning film director, brand strategist and author of the CharacterX methodology. Twenty years across government, film and enterprise, spent learning how people make sense of change, decide who to trust, and act.
Every business is telling a story. Most of them are telling it badly.
I started in communications and innovation at the Met Office, then spent a decade building businesses, directing films and developing intellectual property of my own. That work converged into CharacterX, a methodology rooted in cinematic storytelling that treats the customer as the protagonist and the brand as the guide, and into NextMonth, the platform I am building to put that method to work. The CV has the facts. This page is for the parts that do not fit on one.
A CV is the formal version. These are the ones I would rather tell in person, and every one of them is true.
Pick one. I will tell you the whole thing straight, and you will understand more about how I work than any list of jobs could show you. That is rather the point.
Whether you are hiring, building something, or just curious about one of those stories, I would be glad to hear from you.
